Two new things you can do this year:
  • You can pledge on-line to support your favorite rider.  It's easy and fast.  You can use any charge card to donate. Just choose the Pledge Registration option on the menu to the left.
  • Company and individual sponsors can register and donate on-line. Just choose the Sponsor Information option on the menu to the left.

Please note our starting location: Jennings Beach in Fairfield, CT

Come Bike the Beach on a picturesque route beginning at Jennings Beach in Fairfield, Connecticut. Follow the route through as many as five historic New England towns. All of the routes pass by scenic beaches.

100% of the funds raised from Bike the Beach 2008 will be used to benefit people with developmental disabilities through the activities of the Probus Club of Greater Bridgeport and its support of other community organizations such as The Kennedy Center, Inc.

Pre-registration fee - $30 by August 31, 2008 or
Registration fee - $40 after August 31, 2008 or
Pledge Registration: Raise a minimum of $40 in prepaid pledges and ride free.

Directions to Jennings Beach : Take I-95 to exit 22 (Round Hill/North Benson Roads). If coming from New Haven, turn left at the light at the bottom of the ramp. If coming from New York, go behind the rest stop, at the stop sign, continue straight and turn right at the next light. Follow South Benson Road for about 0.2 miles to the Post Road (US 1). Go straight across the Post road and continue on South Benson Road 1 mile to the end. The Jennings Beach parking lot will be on your left.

By Metro North New Haven line train: Get off at Fairfield station (about 1 hour from New York), ride 1 block to the Post Road. Turn left and ride through five lights to South Benson Road. Turn right and continue on South Benson Road 1 mile to the end. The Jennings Beach parking lot will be on your left.
